Snail's Pace

This painting was created in 2020 during the Corona epidemic. For me, it is a colorful underwater world in which plants, animals and abstract forms float in the water and shine in vivid, vibrant colors. The composition appears light and dynamic, as if all elements were dancing freely with each other – a deliberate contrast to the lockdown on earth that brought life to a standstill at the time.

With this work, I processed my longing for freedom, hope and emotional expression. The intense colors and the detailed representation make the painting a special eye-catcher.
