Zeus

In Zeus, I capture the moment when pure primordial force connects with mythical energy. The bull confronts me as an archaic being – dark, pulsating, ready to fill the space with its presence.

I paint it as if emerging from a glowing zone and filling the surface with its presence. Thus it embodies strength, determination and creative force.

Its form is characterized by dark blue and brown tones, while the background is held in luminous colors reminiscent of a burning sky.

With this work, I engage with notions of movement, origin and dignity and refer to the mythical motif of Zeus as a symbol of timeless strength.
